Southern Business Culture:  Doing Business in the South

To be successful in any business, you first have to learn to “read the room.” This especially applies to doing business in the south.  As southerners, we are relational first, business second.  If your old ways of business suddenly just don’t work anymore, if you’re feeling shut out of important discussions, if you’re finding it hard to understand why the SEC means so much to SO many…let’s have a discussion.  It will be fun and helpful, I promise!

Facing Fear and Finding Your Voice:  Can Fear and Courage Co-Exist?

Often, we are told to “conquer our fears” or “put our fears aside.” But can fear and courage co-exist?  Why does it have to be either or?  A new career, a change in direction, a change in motivation…Fear in some size, shape or form is a factor in all our lives. Instead of pushing it down, away or even denying it, maybe it’s time we allow ourselves to identify and acknowledge the fears we have but at the same time, continue on our path to success. Fear and Courage – it’s an interesting and timely discussion definitely worth having!
